About Me
Kiran Lakhani is a counseling psychologist boasting a rich 18 year history of diverse professional experience in corporate settings, hospitals, and schools. Recently achieving a Ph.D. in human development and family studies, Kiran brings a robust academic foundation to her practice.
Specializing in one-to-one therapy and couple's therapy, Kiran is adept at addressing emotional issues and guiding individuals toward a more fulfilling life. Her preferred therapeutic approach is mindfulness-based, trauma-focused, non-directive, and humanistic. However, she remains flexible, incorporating techniques from various modalities based on the specific needs and personality of each individual.
Kiran has a proven track record of assisting clients dealing with concerns related to work, family, relationships, and self-image. Through the application of therapeutic techniques and assessment tools, she has made a meaningful impact on the lives of those she has worked with.
Committed to professional growth, Kiran consistently upgrades her skills, actively engages in research, and takes on teaching responsibilities. In corporate settings, she has been involved in diverse activities such as assessment and development centers, coaching, training, and providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
